PRESENCE PROJECTS
What is a Presence Project? How do I get involved?
God has called the Church, as a community of people, to be a compelling force of good in the world. Through our sacrificial love, we make the presence of Jesus known here on earth.
Many of our Community Life Groups take on individual projects, but following are some of the churchwide Presence Projects:
Connection Power
With the implementation of a new system to help us, NorthPoint is becoming much more intentional on reaching out to our weekly visitors and also to our regular attenders. As you may or may not be aware, in the past we haven’t had the tools or people to help us engage our visitors and respond to their needs and spiritual concerns. We are looking for people who would like to serve as welcome callers and care partners. You will be able to log on to our site, see your weekly assignments (you can choose your work load), and contact visitors, which will help us get to know them better and see how we can best serve them. We never again want to wonder what happened to a visiting family. If you’re interested in this ministry, please contact Pastor Eric for more info.
Bread Ministry
This ministry goup meets every Wednesday morning to repackage donated bakery items to deliver to local shelters. If you're interested in serving in the Bread Ministry, contact Daneen Duncan.
The Bread Ministry is also looking for donations of clothing and small household items to local shelters.
Unfortunately, furniture cannot be accepted. For more info, contact Daneen Duncan.
