Honduras Missions Trip UPDATE
Our mission team was set to depart for Honduras Friday, June 6, but we had to cancel the trip, since the airport in the Honduran capital city of Tegucigalpa was shut down early last week. A recent fatal crash of a Salvadoran passenger plane forced the closure. The country will adapt a military airstrip for civilian use, which will hopefully be operating in a couple months. Our trip has been postponed to the first week of September. If you’d like more info, please contact Pastor Brad.


Sunday Evening Gathering Canceled
The Sunday evening gathering for June 15 (Father's Day) will be canceled but will resume the following week.


Power Lab Day Camp
NorthPoint families, as you plan ahead for your child’s summer activities don’t forget to include Day Camp in your schedule.  If you want your child to feel like NorthPoint is their home church community, then you won’t want them to miss out on this year’s Power Lab Day Camp.  Your children will have the opportunity to grow in their relationship with God and build relationships with other children and leaders of our church.  They will learn through music, Bible teaching times, games, and crafts.  Each afternoon, we will travel to fun activities, including swimming, bowling, roller skating, and the zoo.  Please save July 14-18 for Day Camp.

Here are the details:

  • WHO –  Kids entering Kindergarten through 8th grade
  • WHAT – Power Lab: Discovering Jesus’ Miraculous Power
  • WHEN – Monday, July 14 through Friday, July 18 from 9 am to 3:30 pm
  • WHERE –  NorthPoint Church
  • WHY  –  Kids can grow in their relationship with God and build Christ-centered friendships
  • HOW MUCH –  $40 paid by Sunday, June 15 or $50 paid any time after that.  The price includes a T-shirt and all afternoon activities.  There are a limited number of spots due to space, so register early!

If you’re interested in teaching or helping with Day Camp this year please contact Debbie Wotring.  You will have as much fun as the kids, guaranteed!  We are looking for people to help decorate on Sunday, July 13, clean on Friday, July 18, and chaperone afternoon activities.  Please let us know on your Connection Card if you’re interested in serving in any of these areas.
