Family Ministries Campus Coach (ages 0-2) - West YMCA Description: Assists Campus Director in overseeing operations of ministry to our kids, ages 0-2, at one of our campuses. Works with volunteers and parents to ensure their experience and environment are healthy and engaging. Also, assists in class registration and introduces new families to their kids ministry environments. Actively involved in implementing the Family Ministries strategy/values/philosophy in ministry area. Status: Volunteer Schedule: Weekly Day: Sunday Time: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm       Family Ministries Campus Coach (ages 3-5) - West YMCA Description: Assists Campus Director in overseeing operations of ministry to our kids, ages 3-5, at one of our campuses. Works with volunteers and parents to ensure their experience and environment are healthy and engaging. Also, assists in class registration and introduces new families to their kids ministry environments. Actively involved in implementing the Family Ministries strategy/values/philosophy in ministry area. Status: Volunteer Schedule: Weekly Day: Sunday Time: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm       Family Ministries Large Group Host (grades K-5) - West YMCA Description: Works with the Large Group Teacher, at least once a month, to emcee (from provided script) 15-20 minute teaching during our Large Group Experience for kids in kindergarten through 5th grade. Also, responsible for creating a welcoming and inviting environment when parents and kids arrive to ministry area and ensure that parents and kids have proper security tags during drop-off and pick-up times. Actively involved in implementing the Family Ministries strategy/values/philosophy in ministry area. Status: Volunteer Schedule: Weekly Day: Sunday Time: 9:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. Date: Aug 29, 2010       Family Ministries Large Group Media Technician (grades K-5) - West YMCA Description: Works the Large Group Team, at least once a month, to provide and operate all audio/video elements during our Large Group Experience for kids in kindergarten through 5th grade. Also, responsible for tearing down all media equipment after the Large Group Experience. Actively involved in implementing the Family Ministries strategy/values/philosophy in ministry area. Status: Volunteer Schedule: Weekly Day: Sunday Time: 9:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. Date: Aug 29, 2010       Family Ministries Large Group Teacher (grades K-5) - West YMCA Description: Works with the Large Group Team, at least once a month, to implement (from provided script) 15-20 minute teaching during our Large Group Experience for kids in kindergarten through 5th grade. Meets with small group leaders 30 minutes before service to give a brief overview and direction for service. Also, responsible for creating a welcoming and inviting environment when parents and kids arrive to ministry area and ensure that parents and kids have proper security tags during drop-off and pick-up times. Actively involved in implementing the Family Ministries strategy/values/philosophy in ministry area. Status: Volunteer Schedule: Weekly Day: Sunday Time: 9:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. Date: Aug 29, 2010       Family Ministries Room Host (ages 0-2) - West YMCA Description: Assists Team Captain in overseeing ministry area at least once a month. Responsible for creating a welcoming and inviting environment when parents and kids arrive to ministry area. Ensures that parents and kids have proper security tags during drop-off and pick-up times. Helps new families become acclimated to their new environments. Actively involved in implementing the Family Ministries strategy/values/philosophy in ministry area. Date: Aug 29, 2010       Family Ministries Team Captain (ages 3-5) - West YMCA Description: Assists Campus Coach in overseeing ministry area at least once a month. Responsible for communicating any volunteer or child/parent issues to Campus Coach or Director and works with volunteers to ensure room safety and procedures are being followed. Also, leads large group/teaching time for preschoolers and facilitates worship, small group time and activities through volunteer team for the week. Date: Aug 29, 2010       Family Ministries Team Member (ages 0-2) - West YMCA Description: Actively participates, at least once a month, in the care and nurture of infants/toddlers (ages 0-2) during our weekly gathering. Also, works with the Team Captain and Room Host to create a safe and engaging environment. Actively involved in implementing the Family Ministries strategy/values/philosophy in ministry area. Status: Volunteer Schedule: Weekly Day: Sunday Date: Aug 29, 2010       Family Ministries Team Member (ages 3-5) - West YMCA Description: Assists Team Captain in ministry area at least once a month by helping lead activities, worship and small group time. Responsible for creating a welcoming and inviting environment when parents and kids arrive to ministry area. Ensures that parents and kids have proper security tags during drop-off and pick-up times.
