Good Fruit

If our lives are a garden, what kind of fruit are we producing? What is the condition of our soil and how deep do our roots go?

While following Jesus and a life submitted to God does not produce perfection in our lives, the work of the Holy Spirit enables us to take on Christlike attributes in an otherwise toxic world. Jesus challenges us to love our enemies, rejoice at all times, experience His peace in our chaos and exercise self-control. Apostle Paul reminds us in Galatians 5:26, “Let us not become conceited, or provoke one another, or be jealous of one another.” Instead, may we remain connected to the true vine and bear the fruit that brings glory to God. Through this month’s study, we can deepen our understanding of what it means for Jesus to be the vine, us to be the branches, and the love, joy, peace and self-control this produces in our lives.
